A very warm welcome to Combe Down Church of England Primary School and the Combe Down PTA

A PTA is a Parent Teacher Association - an organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Combe Down Primary PTA brings together parents and carers, teachers and children to raise funds and strengthen the school community. Money raised is usually spent on things that the school budget does not cover.

We usually raise around £10,000 a year and we are registered as a charity with the Charity Commission. Our core PTA Committee consists of the Co-Chairs, Joint-Secretaries and a Treasurer and at least one PTA rep for every class. This is a legal requirement of our charity status, we also have a host of regular volunteers who support our fundraising events programme and we are always looking for new members to help us achieve our common cause. 

The great news is, if you are a parent or carer of a child in Combe Down Primary you are already a member of the PTA. Check out the calendar and come along to the next meeting and make some new friends, get to know more about the school, raise much needed funds and help make a difference to the children and school community for generations to come.

Meetings take part once a term and our annual AGM is held in Term 4 between the February Half Term and Easter holidays. Meetings are in the evenings in a variety of venues and don't worry if you miss the advertised start time, please do still pop in and join us.
